It&#8217;s frustrating, so I&#8217;m going to copy this here. I&#8217;ve just topped up my prepaid mobile phone using a debit card on Vodafone&#8217;s website. I got a confirmation text saying<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Thank you for your order.TopUp Amount:&amp;#163;10.You bought this on &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s not easy to read with that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/html4\/charset.html#h-5.3.1\">Numeric character reference<\/a> in there &#8211; it should say<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Thank you for your order.TopUp Amount:\u00a310.You bought this on &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In a helpful mood, I thought I&#8217;d use <a href=\"https:\/\/help.vodafone.co.uk\/system\/selfservice.controller?CMD=ESCALATION_REQUEST&amp;PARTITION_ID=1&amp;CONFIGURATION=1000&amp;COUNTRY=us&amp;LANGUAGE=en\">Vodafone&#8217;s email contact form<\/a> to let them know they are sending mangled texts.
