the dollar and cents calculations do not make sense. it takes some many millions of years to produce this fossil fuel and we burn it in no time and leave nothing to our children and after.

the dollars and cents calculations is man made and doomed to reach a dead end. nature is not sitting back and the backlash is already on the way in the form of climate change !

I don’t see why not – as long as it’s possible for *anyone* to write a shipping module for Prestashop, the SQ API will work the same for one site as it will for any other.

I still haven’t found the time to read the original article to reassure myself *exactly* what the Damerau-Levenshtein string distance is, so I haven’t changed the code to match the changing Wikipedia article. Thanks for reminding me though! I will try to find the time to do that reading and post an update of some kind.

Sorry about that, and thanks for your interest. It’s currently in “end of life” mode at shipping-quote.net – I’ve recently moved from one side of the world to the other and lots of other stuff has changed, so I’ll probably take it off-line sometime in the next few months. It should all be still working, but there just isn’t enough interest in it (or users of it) for me to spend the time maintaining it.

wrong algorithm. the damerau levenshtein distance of CA ABC is 2 (swap CA -> AC and insert B after A). your algorithm gives 3.
